Reclaim Philadelphia’s Queer Liberation Caucus presents: Stonewall was a Riot, a new event series to examine Reclaim’s work through the experiences of queer people past and present. Our first event will look at the issues of Housing and Mass Incarceration, and how queer people have been impacted disporportionately by these forces. We’ll hear from queer leaders in Reclaim about their experiences, and join a panel of impacted queer people sharing their stories, with a queer historian to give context to these struggles, to reconnect us all, queer or not, to the radical roots of queer liberation at Stonewall and before. All are welcome to join us on Zoom on 6/27 at 2pm for Stonewall was a Riot.
