On Both Sides: Rally to End Death by Incarceration and Heal our Communities
Join the Coalition to Abolish Death By Incarceration for our fourth annual day of action in Harrisburg! This year, we will be highlighting the voices of those whose families have been impacted both by violence and incarceration, with a call to lawmakers to end Death By Incarceration (also known as Life Without Parole) and instead support transformation, healing, and accountability.
This rally is in support of legislation that would make those who have been sentenced to die in prison eligible for parole.
On October 23 at 12pm, CADBI members and supporters will gather in the Capitol Rotunda with the message that healing and compassion can rebuild our communities. We’re hoping that this year will be the biggest action yet, and we need your help! Please spread the word!
CADBI will be providing transportation to and from Philly, Pittsburgh, and other parts of the state as we are able. If you need transportation or can offer seats in your car, please let us know!
