We will gather to hear about the campaign to create a Philadelphia Public Bank and how it ties into the nationwide campaign to curtail Wall Street. Speakers from all around the country will discuss how their local campaigns are going, and others will discuss the key role public banks can play in advancing the cause of racial justice, creation of a new co-operative economy, build up the stock of affordable, accessible housing, and advance the fight against climate change.
