Philadelphians have experienced multiple extreme events related to those in power refuse to act toward sustainability, safety, and economic security. From the refinery explosion and fire a month ago, the daily environmental health impacts on residents living near toxic energy plants, and last week’s Schuykill flooding across areas of the city including 676, many of us are looking for ways to take action locally
