Reclaim Philadelphia’s Citywide Committee 2nd Round of Recommendations for Member Endorsement Voting in the 2026 Primary Election

Reclaim Philadelphia members can now begin voting in the final round of endorsements for candidates seeking our endorsement in the 2026 Primary! Membership voting will begin today Wednesday April 1 and finalize at the end of the day Wednesday April 8.

Reclaim Philadelphia’s endorsements are decided by members. All members can and should participate in the endorsement process! Candidates who receive the votes of at least 60% of the participating members (members who submit a ballot) are endorsed. Not a member? You can become one now to weigh in on endorsements and other future important decisions about the direction of Reclaim Philadelphia and our movement.

Reclaim members already voted overwhelmingly to endorse Chris Rabb for Congress. You can read our recommendation from that vote here.

In this second round of member endorsements we are looking at State Representative candidates seeking our endorsement. These recommendations come from a process of gathering information and viewpoints from our candidate questionnaires, Reclaim staff and other advocates, and aligned organizations in Philadelphia’s movement ecosystem. Our members also sat down with candidates for interviews for follow up questions. Below are our Citywide Committee’s recommendations to membership for endorsement votes in the 2026 Primary.

First time candidates seeking our endorsement include Marcus Roberts-Deloach (10th), D’Angelo Virgo (192nd), Sierra McNeil (195th), and Chris Johnson (200th).

House District 10

Citywide Committee Recommendation: Membership is recommended to not endorse Marcus Roberts-DeLoach

Read Marcus Roberts-DeLoach’s questionnaire here and here

Reclaim is invested in replacing candidates funded by right wing billionaire Jeffrey Yass like State Representative Amen Brown. But unfortunately Marcus Roberts-DeLoach is not the candidate that can achieve that goal this primary. While our leaders found Marcus to be charismatic and ambitious, he has not been able to build a powerful campaign that can win. This is illustrated by him being knocked off the ballot in this race by his opponent. Reclaim’s Citywide Committee recommends our members vote not to endorse Marcus Roberts-DeLoach this election.

House District 181

Citywide Committee Recommendation: ENDORSE MALCOLM KENYATTA

Malcolm Kenyatta has become a nationally recognized leader that consistently uses his platform to fight back against the Trump regime. He is the first Black gay man elected in the general assembly and also the first to receive support from either political party for statewide office. While he came up short in his statewide races, he’s never stopped putting in the work canvassing up and down the commonwealth to elect democrats to help turn PA blue. That’s solidarity. Reclaim’s Citywide Committee recommends our members to vote to endorse Malcolm Kenyatta for re-election.

House District 184

Citywide Committee Recommendation: ENDORSE ELIZABETH FIEDLER

Reclaim Philadelphia supported Elizabeth Fiedler for State Representative in 2018 in her first successful race for this seat. Our members have consistently endorsed her because she has proven herself to be a movement champion. In this year’s race, she is unopposed. In the state house delegation, she’s on the leadership board of the Progressive Caucus as well as the Blue/Green Caucus where she is making sure that labor and environmental groups are in conversation to deliver for our communities. It’s from the Blue/Green Caucus that she got the idea for her transformative Solar for Schools program, which funds solar energy projects at public k-12 schools, community colleges, and career technical schools across Pennsylvania. Reclaim’s Citywide Committee recommends our membership to vote to endorse Elizabeth Fideler for re-election.

House District 188

Citywide Committee Recommendation: ENDORSE RICK KRAJEWSKI

Rick Krajewski, a former Reclaim Philadelphia organizer, first ran in 2020 when he defeated a 30 year incumbent. He’s on the leadership board of the Progressive Caucus in the state house where he has been pushing back against school vouchers and tough on crime legislation. This year he has championed bipartisan legislation to support worker cooperatives as well as compassionate release for severely ill and elderly incarcerated Pennsylvanians. Both legislation was crafted with movement organizations on the ground like the Philadelphia Area Cooperative Alliance (PACA) and Straight Ahead respectively. Reclaim’s Citywide Committee recommends our membership vote to endorse Rick Krajewski for re-election.

House District 190

Citywide Committee Recommendation: ENDORSE RONI GREEN

Roni Green is a labor leader who has a 35 year membership with union SEIU Local 668. As state representative, Roni has introduced transformative legislation for workers to increase the minimum wage to $16 as well as legislation to create a 4 day workweek. Reclaim’s Citywide Committee recommends our membership to vote to endorse Roni Green for re-election.

House District 192

Citywide Committee Recommendation: Membership is recommended to not endorse D’Angelo Virgo

Read D’Angelo Virgo’s questionnaire

Our leaders found D’Angelo Virgo charismatic and rooted in his community. But he is facing a strong incumbent in State Representative Morgan Cephas who has been aligned with our movement in many fights despite never seeking our endorsement for this seat. To make matters more difficult, we don’t have a strong base in this district and his campaign hasn’t produced enough when it comes to endorsements or fundraising to be powerful independently. In his questionnaire and interview, our members also highlighted significant areas where we are not aligned around policing, tax breaks for corporations, and data centers. For these reasons, Reclaim’s Citywide Committee recommends our members vote not to endorse D’Angelo Virgo in this election.

House District 194

Citywide Committee Recommendation: ENDORSE TARIK KHAN

As a frontline nurse before and while running, Tarik delivered vaccinations to homebound patients during the peak of the COVID pandemic. We endorsed him in 2020 when he ran a progressive challenge against incumbent Pam Delissio and won! Tarik is the first Pakistani-American and first nurse practitioner ever elected in the Pennsylvania General Assembly. In the state house he’s been a trusted ally when it comes to healthcare justice where he is building up infrastructure for Medicare for All in the commonwealth. Reclaim’s Citywide Committee recommends our membership to vote to endorse Tarik Khan for re-election.

House District 195

Citywide Committee Recommendation: ENDORSE SIERRA MCNEIL

Read Sierra McNeil's questionnaire here

Sierra McNeil is a social worker, Temple University alum, and Strawberry Mansion neighbor. She is running a campaign rooted in care and compassion. All our leaders that have met her or reviewed her questionnaire and interviews have been blown away. Sierra is committed and well equipped to fight and win for accessible and affordable healthcare, a living wage, and fully funded schools. Sierra is the best opportunity for us to expand our movement squad this election. We could not be any more excited about her candidacy! Reclaim’s Citywide committee enthusiastically recommends our members to vote to endorse Sierra McNeil for election

House District 200

Steering Committee Recommendation: ENDORSE CHRIS JOHNSON

Read Chris Johnson’s questionnaire here.

Chris Rabb, who we endorsed for Congress has made the rare and admirable decision to not run for re-election for his State Representative seat while seeking higher office. Rabb has instead encouraged a young and driven public school advocate Chris Johnson to replace him. Our members found Chris to be incredibly smart and policy oriented in his questionnaire and interview. He is no stranger to politics having worked for Senator Bob Casey and Speaker of the Pennsylvania House Joanna McClinton. He is the most powerful and values aligned candidate in this race and with his knowledge and background we believe he will hit the ground running alongside our movement squad in Harrisburg. Reclaim’s Citywide Committee recommends our membership to vote to endorse Chirs Johnson for election.

House District 201

Steering Committee Recommendation: ENDORSE ANDRE CARROLL

Andre Carroll is a Reclaim member, former campaign worker for Councilmember Isaiah Thomas, and former campaign manager for Councilmember Nicolas O’Rourke. Andre is committed to mass liberation and has focused a lot of his energy around juveniles impacted by the carceral system. Reclaim endorsed Andre when he first ran for this seat in 2020 almost knocking out a ten year incumbent and winning 43% of the vote. He came back and won in 2024 becoming the first out gay man elected in the district in 2024! Andre faces a challenger but we are excited to stand with him to win again. Reclaim Citywide Committee strongly encourages our members to vote to endorse Andre Carroll for re-election.

Dues-paying members of Reclaim Philadelphia will have until end of day Weds April 8 to vote on this second round of member endorsements for the 2026 Primary. You can find the ballot here to vote. Join us as a member by signing up here.
