Reclaim co-hosts back-to-school supply giveaway

The West & Southwest Chapter handed out supplies, helped run the event, and met a lot of neighbors getting kids ready for the first day of school.

Days like this are how community power actually gets built. Neighbors helping neighbors until we know each other well enough to fight together for schools that don’t need a supply drive in the first place.

Thank you to Miss Edie for organizing, Rachel and the staff at Kingsessing for hosting, Reclaim members and friends who gave a Saturday and chipped in money to stock the table, and to the people who hooked us up with donations at Fred’s Water Ice, Fresh Grocer, Philly Pretzel Factory, Trader Joe’s, Wawa, and Wegmans.
