Keystone Newsroom: Bob Brooks, Chris Rabb lead progressives to victory in Pennsylvania's primary elections

Keystone Newsroom pairs two Pennsylvania primary wins with very different shapes. Bob Brooks, a retired 20-year Bethlehem firefighter and union leader, ran with Gov. Josh Shapiro, Sen. Bernie Sanders and more than a dozen unions behind him, and survived $1.7 million in Republican spending against him. Rabb ran against the machine. Street had the Philadelphia Democratic Party, most of the city's elected officials and the Philadelphia AFL-CIO. Rabb's campaign, the piece reports, was bolstered by U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Working Families Party, Reclaim Philadelphia, One Pennsylvania and allied lawmakers. Both advance to November, where Brooks faces Republican Ryan Mackenzie and Rabb runs unopposed.
