Primary Election 2023!

The Primary Election is local election where we’ll vote to elect a new Mayor, 5 city council at large candidates, 1 district council member as well as “row offices” and judges for local courts. This is an opportunity we only get once every four years! We’re excited about the opportunity to shift power away from the status quo by electing movement leaders to the Mayor’s office and City Council!

We have neighborhood hubs in East Falls/Roxborough, Fairmount/Brewerytown, Center City, Riverwards, South Philly and West Philly! Shifts every Saturday and Sunday 10am-1pm and 1pm-4pm!

WE’re canvassing for our endorsed Mayor and City Council at large candidates this spring!

All of us, whether Black, brown or white, want safe, healthy communities for our families to thrive. Too many Philadelphians live in poverty, during a pandemic, without the things they need to survive. Instead of investment into housing, education, jobs, and healthcare, corrupt corporate politicians cater to developers and the status quo.

We know the majority of Philadelphians want investment in our neighborhoods - open rec centers and libraries, healthy vibrant schools, affordable housing, mental health support, public spaces and community violence prevention rooted in community investment.

On May 16th, we have the chance to elect a Mayor and a progressive majority to City Council to shift power to the people and have our city government work for us!

We demand a better Philadelphia.

All of our canvasses start with a training to ensure even the newest volunteers feel prepared and ready to talk to their neighbors about the issues that matter to us and how our endorsed candidates will lead for us.

Neighborhood canvasses are designed so that all volunteers will canvass in their own neighborhood and talk to people they’re likely to see in the future. We know we’re the best messengers locally and we’re also organizing locally year round through our neighborhood groups so people can stay engaged and join us in cogoverning with the candidates we elect!
