OVERVIEW
Art in Action is Reclaim’s creative home. We believe organizing needs artistry as much as it needs strategy, so we build music, poetry, theater, and visual art into the work of the movement.
Current campaigns:
Our house band, The Reclaimers, performing at actions and events across the city
Devising Democracy, a participatory theater project turning community stories into new possibilities for local government
The Wild Indigo Fundraiser, an art and culture event raising money for ASL interpretation access alongside Reclaim
Join this caucus if: You've got a project you want to workshop with other creative people, you're excited to see what other artists around the city are building, or you're part of another caucus looking to connect with Reclaim artists.
Meetings
We meet monthly, alternating between in person and Zoom. Meetings run on open space technology, which means the agenda comes from whoever shows up in the room. Monitor the event calendar for details.
