People's World: Stop imagining the apocalypse and start imagining the revolution

People's World published Reclaim Executive Director Seth Anderson-Oberman's remarks from the April 5, 2025 "Hands Off" demonstration in Philadelphia as an op-ed. He introduces himself as a father of two Black children, there to fight for their right "to belong, to thrive, to grow old with dignity," and builds to the refrain the crowd came for: hands off our schools, our housing, our transit, our libraries, our clinics, our dignity. The piece names what is being done plainly, from Medicaid and SNAP cuts to a billionaire class led by Donald Trump and Elon Musk, and argues for spending less imagination on the collapse and more on what comes after it.
