We're the Reclaim chapter along the Ridge and the river. We spend our time on the things that decide whether people can actually live here: trains and buses that show up, good public schools, greenspace that stays green, streets you can bike and walk safely, and a ward that answers to its neighbors.

What we've been up to

We helped put Chris Rabb on the ballot. Our members pitched in on the 7,000 petition signatures that got him into the Third Congressional District primary — a race he went on to win.

We trained neighbors to stand between ICE and their neighbors. Working with the Northwest Immigration Network, NW Philly No ICE, and other allies, we've co-sponsored two Immigrant Solidarity and Bystander Intervention trainings, with more coming. More than 300 people RSVP'd for the first one.

We taught the ward system, then ran for it. With Vote the Ridge, we walked neighbors through how Philly's wards actually work — who holds the power and how everyday people take a seat at that table. Then five of our own members ran for Committeeperson in Ward 21 in the 2026 primary.

We took transit funding to Harrisburg. Ahead of the state budget, we sat down with Rep. Tarik Khan to press him to lead on transit funding, and sponsored a chapter member to join Transit for All PA's Lobby Day in the Capitol.

We show up for the fights next door. Our newsletter has carried the calls to keep our local public schools open and to back Philly Cultural Workers United in their fight at the Schuylkill Center.
